I’m Anoop, an Electronics and Communications engineer who works on wireless embedded systems for a living. Traveling and photographing and sharing my experiences here at ANUBIMB helps me unwind and break the monotony of life.

‘anubimb’ is a Sanskrit word which means ‘afterimage’ or ‘aftersensation’. An afterimage is an optical illusion that refers to an image continuing to appear in one’s vision after the exposure to the original image has ceased. So, I chose to call this website as an ‘anubimb’ of my travel experiences. Alternatively, ‘bimb’ also means an image or reflection. So, anubimb can also mean anoop + bimb. Of course, thats only my interpretation.
