Garden Rhapsody – Singapore

The 'OCBC Garden Rhapsody' is an Audio/Visual treat of gigantic proportions. Combining music, lasers, projection media and light artistry, this special show delights visitors to the Gardens by the Bay at 7:45pm and 8:45pm each evening at the Supertree Grove.

The OCBC Garden Rhapsody is made possible by a partnership between Gardens by the Bay and the Oversea-Chinese Banking Corporation Limited (“OCBC Bank”). OCBC Bank is also the sponsor of the OCBC Skyway at the SuperTrees – a breathtaking 128 metre-long aerial walkway, suspended at a height of 22 metres above the ground.

Garden Rhapsody is an exciting poetic trilogy of music and light, which celebrates the harmonious co-existence of Man and the Garden. The Music is composed using recordings of the sounds made by the trees and plants at Gardens by the Bay. The OCBC Garden Rhapsody can either be viewed from a distance or experienced from within the Supertree Grove. Each performance uses 48 independent audio speakers to stream music from every spot and corner of the Grove, resembling ‘live’ musicians performing at various spots. The lights add further to the ambiance with changing colours and moving displays that silhouette the spectacular structure of the Supertrees against the dark of the evening sky. Each show lasts about 10 minutes and the performances change every three months.

  1. Where can i buy the 10 minute musical gems from the super trees… it was brilliant and would be a constant reminder of a fantastic experience.

    1. Thanks for commenting at anubimb. I don’t stay at Singapore, was just a visitor, so have no idea about your question. But yeah, the sounds at the Garden Rhapsody were amazing.
